Climbing is dangerous! Every year many climbers are broken, maimed, and killed. Don't be so foolish as to trust your life to what you see here. I'm not a guide and neither is this web site. If you don't know what you are doing or where you are going, please take a course or hire a guide! |

Hyalite Canyon IceNovember 30-December 2, 2002I was sitting in my office staring at the weather forecast for the next week. Sunny and warm, again. Jens and I had plans for an early-season trip to Lillooet, but it looked like there'd be nothing but wet rock and very fluid waterfalls. Then I had an idea. A quick look at Mapquest supported my idea, and plans were changed. A third and a fourth were found, and at 9:10 AM on November 29, we leave my house, bound for Bozeman, Montana. <the rest of the TR is coming, but for now here are some pictures> Friday, November 29:Drive from Issaquah to Bozeman. 10.5 hours, 675 miles.
Saturday, November 30:Upper Greensleeves (three variations), Genesis 2, and a quick TR of Diversions.
Sunday, December 1:Dribbles and Silken Skein Falls
Monday, December 2:Loren and Jens on Mummies 1 and 2, and The Scepter.
My heartfelt thanks to Jens, Ben, and Dave for a fun, safe, road trip!
